Please note all bookings for the 2 day course will now be £400.00 inc VAT. This will include lunch and drinks throughout the day (but not accommodation).

To provisionally book a place on a Foundation course, simply send us an email inserting “Foundation Course Booking” into the subject box, and your full name, address, phone number and your choice of first and second dates.

We will confirm your provisional booking and attach your pre course booklet which includes directions and local accommodation etc, and your booking forms by email  (To help save the planet we do not send out printed hard copies)

Please sign and return along with your £200.00 deposit . No bookings are guaranteed without receipt of both.

OUTLINE: The purpose of the foundation course is to create a deep understanding of the domestic dog. By looking at the principles of shaping positive behaviour, we share the secrets of getting the animal to want to work for us of its own free will, not because it has to. Through lectures, and visual aids we examine the psychology, behaviour patterns, instincts and values of the domestic dog. We show how, with this understanding, we are able to change undesirable behaviour the kind way. We examine the causes of confrontation, confusion and undesirable behaviour. There will be comprehensive analysis of the core method that is 'Amichien Bonding': with examples of common problems and in-depth discussions on kind correction, examination of situations, behaviours and correction of undesirable behaviours. This course is beneficial, not only to those who experience problems with their dogs, but for all dog owners and people who work with dogs. On the completion of the course trainees will receive a certificate of attendance, and the ability to appreciate 'man’s best friend' in an entirely different light. To provisionally book a place on a "Foundation Course", simply send us via email jan.fennell@btopenworld.com  your full name and address and telephone number with your first and second choice of dates, and enter in the subject box FOUNDATION COURSE BOOKING. We will confirm your provisional booking by email and then send you via email a pre-course booklet, which includes directions and local recommended accommodation etc and an official booking form. Please return your booking form with £200.00 deposit within 14 days of receipt as we can not guarantee a place without first receiving both signed booking form and deposit (The total cost of the 2 day Foundation Course including drinks and lunch each day is £400.00 inc 17.5% vat per person, excluding accommodation) The balance of fees are payable at registration on the first morning of the course.

All deposits are non returnable and non transferable - Cancellation of attendance:- We require a minimum of 21 days notice, failure to comply will result in the following cancellation charges:- 21 days notice or more NO CHARGE.. 21 days - 7 day notice 50% of balance outstanding.. Less than 7 days 100% of balance outstanding
